Thunder+Gami (gami being "god" in japanese)

i didnt do it last time because i didnt know abut it. I dont stand a chance, i know that, but i still had to do it. and im very happy with how this came out.

Backstory:

Once upon a time, there lived many happy pokemon in a valley, known as the the Evolution Valley. It was called the Evolution Valley because it was the source of almost every evolution stone and item that could be naturally found.
Many families of eevee's and their evolutions called this valley their home.
Among all the eevees and eeveelutions was a young Jolteon. He was the youngest of three, having an older sister Leafeon, and an even older brother Umbreon. When he had newly evolved into a Jolteon, using one of the many thunderstones found in the natural caves in the valley, he stumbled upon a strange steel box. it was yellow, and seemed to have electricity stored inside it. He brought it to his brother and sister, whom had no idea what it was. But the Jolteon refused to toss it out. He asked his Leafeon sister to make a vine necklace to wrap around it so he could keep it. His kind sister did so, using her abilities to wrap many knots of vines around the box to make sure it never got loose and broke.
For years he wore this unknown steel box around his neck. None of the other pokemon in the valley bothered to take it, for it had no value or purpose.
Eventually he took a mate, a beautiful Vaporeon. They lived together happily, and it wasn't long until she gave birth to their son.
Everything for the Jolteon was perfect. A wonderful loving mate, and a healthy Eevee son. It seemed that nothing would ruin his happy life.
But of course, not all stories can end happily. One morning, the sun didn't shine its warm rays on the Valley as it had in the past. Instead, thick dark clouds filled the blue sky.

"I've never seen the sky like this before," the Vaporeon said with concern.
"Well, the Valley will be fine. We could always stand a down poor here and there," the Jolteon laughed.
"Still, I think we should get out of the burrow..."

The Vaporeon was worried their burrow home would flood, so she convinced her mate to let them them out and take shelter under the trees. They crawled out of their home quickly, and stared at awe at the sky.
Lightning streaked across the clouds. The wind whipped harshly. An ear-shattering screech pierced through the Valley.

"What is that?!" the Vaporeon cried.
"It...it looks like one of the Bird Gods!" the Jolteon said in horror.

An enraged Zapdos rocketed through the storm it created. It continued shrieking and creating more and more rain and lightning.

"We have to get to high ground!"
"At this rate, we'll all die no matter what!" the Jolteon shouted over the thunder.

He looked up and saw that the Zapdos was low enough for him to attack. He tried to paralyze it with his Shock Wave, but it was useless.
This inferior attack only enraged the Zapdos more. It lunged down and tried using a Drill Peck on the Jolteon. He was swift though, and easily dodged it.
"Get our son and go! Get as far as away as possible!"
Without another word, the Vaporeon picked up her son with her mouth and bounded away. The Zapdos whirled around and tried to snap its beak at the Vaporeon's tail. But the Jolteon jumped onto its back and tried to shock it again. His efforts were still useless. The Zapdos flung him off and unleashed its fury. It sent bolts after bolts of electricity at him.
The Jolteon cried and shouted in pain, and he heard his Umbreon brother shout in anger. He pounced on the Zapdos, but was smacked away by its massive wing. He flung back, hitting a tree and falling to the ground, unconscious. The Jolteon cried out, unable to give up, even with his injuries. He bounded towards the Zapdos as it took off. He bit and held onto its leg. The Zapdos cawed in agony and kicked the Jolteon off. It sent more and more electricity down onto him. He began to feel numb from paralysis. He landed hard on the muddy ground. He tried to keep his eyes open. He saw the raging Zapdos attacking more innocent pokemon of the Valley. He struggled to stand up. He heard the pained cry of his son, which was more than enough to cure his paralyzed legs. He raced towards the Zapdos again, pouncing on its back. He bit onto its neck, using up every bit of electricity he had. The Zapdos cried and flew into the air, trying to shake off the Jolteon. He refused to let go. He couldn't let his family die. Higher and higher the Zapdos flew, until finally the wind was so powerful it ripped the Jolteon off. The Zapdos took this moment to unleash its most powerful Thunder attack. The Jolteon was instantly paralyzed, and thought it would surely die now. The Zapdos thrashed its wings against him, sending him flying high into the clouds.
The brave Jolteon didnt know it, but the strange box he carried with him was the rare item, Electrizer. And every time he was hit with the Zapdos's electricity, the electrizer absorbed a large portion of its power. The box was sparking with so much power at this point, it appeared it would explode. And being so full of electricity, and being an electric pokemon, his entire body acted as a lightning rod. Natural lightning came pounding down onto the Jolteon. One final strike hit the electrizer.
The electrizer glowed and released the stored power. It enveloped the Jolteon. His body started to grow, started to become one with its power.
When he awoke, so much power surged through his body, he let out a roar so loud that it put all thunder to shame. He bounded through the clouds in surge of the Zapdos that was destroying his home. He leaped down and landed on the Zapdos. He rammed it into the rain-swelled ground and roared in its face. It let loose all its new power onto the bird. It cried and shrieked in distress and pain. It was no match to new this creature.

"Leave now or you will die!"

"Y-yes, I will go now! Please let me live!"
He pressed his paw into its neck, "Name me as the new ruler of the storms! Say it!"
"You are! You are the god of storms! Please allow me to go!"
"I promise you, if you ever harm any other like this, i will destroy you..." he growled.

The Zapdos hopped away once he was released. He weakly flew off into the sky, now slowly clearing.
All the pokemon of the Valley slowly approached the newly evolved Jolteon.
"Where is my mate? My son?" </b> But he didn't need to look long. He found his beloved Vaporeon, paralyzed and almost dead on the ground. His young eevee son pawed at his mother.
"Mommy? Why don't you get up? Daddy saved us...the big bird's gone..."
"I am not meant for this world anymore..." she whispered.
The new Storm God wept before his mate. Even his tears sparked with electricity as they fell. "Was I not enough to save you?"
"Dear one, without you, all of us would have surely died..." she rasped. "Now please...I can barely feel...One more shock of electricity will end me...Let me go to Arceus..."
"I-I can't..." he barked.
"Please...he's calling to me...it's my time...let me go to him..."

A despaired smile crept over the God's lips. "Yes, Love..." he bent his down low and tenderly licked his mate's cheek. it sent a strong, yet small shock through the Vaporeon's body, ultimately sending her to the heavens.
"Mommy! No!" the young eevee whimpered.
"My son..." the Storm God bent his head down to his eevee. "Do not cry...you're mother is with Arceus now..." He sighed, "and so now must I go as well..."
The eevee hugged onto his father's large head. "Daddy! Don't go!"
He tried not to cry, as not to harm his son with his sparked tears. "My Umbreon brother..." he called. By now his brother was awake. He approached slowly. "You must watch after my son now...I am too powerful to live in the Valley...Will you do this for me?"
"O-of course," he said with shock. Never had he thought his baby brother would turn into a god.
"Be good my dear son...I will always watch over you, and everyone in the Valley..."

The eevee continued to cry, and the Umbreon held him close to his chest to try and sooth him.
"From now on, all shall know me as Thungami, God of the Storms. I vow from here on to protect all those in the Valley..." Without another word, he lifted into the sky and vanished into the clouds...

THE END
